What the scan checks

Two risks most firms never see

Bar advertising red flags

Bar rules make you responsible for every word on your site, even when an agency wrote it.

  • "Specialist" and "expert" claims
  • "Best", "#1" and "top-rated" superlatives
  • Case results without a disclaimer
  • Outcome guarantees
  • Testimonials, awards and review widgets
  • "No fee unless we win" without costs
  • Chatbots, disclaimers and privacy policy

AI and search visibility

People now ask ChatGPT for a lawyer. If AI tools can't read your site, they recommend someone else.

  • AI crawlers blocked in robots.txt
  • Law firm schema (LegalService, Attorney)
  • Content hidden behind JavaScript
  • llms.txt and XML sitemap
  • Title, meta description and H1
  • Mobile setup and click-to-call
  • Firewalls that block crawlers

Questions

Before you scan

Is this legal advice?

No. It is an automated scan that flags wording and technical issues for a person to review. Legal Web Agency is a marketing and web design agency, not a law firm. For your state's exact requirements, check with your state bar or ethics counsel.

How accurate is it?

It reads the text of your pages and matches it against patterns that commonly cause bar complaints. It can miss problems, and it can flag wording that is fine in your state. Every flag shows the exact text so you can judge it yourself.

What happens to my data?

We only read your public web pages, the same way a search engine does. If you ask for a fix plan, we use your details to send it to you, and that is all.

What if you find problems?

You can fix them yourself using the report, or request a free fix plan and we will tell you exactly what to change, in priority order.
